Transpack is an FSC® certified company, another important achievement which consolidates the company’s commitment to sustainability.

FSC certification ensures that our cardboard packaging complies with the FSC-STD-40-004 standard, supporting the development of responsible forest management worldwide.

PEFC certification

In order to increase a more and more ethical consumption of resources, Transpack Spa has obtained PEFC certification for the production of its wooden packaging. The licence is based on the chain-of-custody certificate granted by DNV – Business Assurance Sweden AB (Certificate n. 2020-SKM-PEFC-324).

ISO 4001 – Environmental system certification

With the aim of ensuring customers high quality standards of its products and services with a view to continuous improvement, Transpack Spa has obtained UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001 certifications.

Transpack’s mission is to be a point of reference in the industrial packaging and logistics services sectors with regard to quality, reliability of the product and related services, respect for the environment, in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

ISO 9001 – Quality system certification

The company policy is implemented through the setting, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a company management system in compliance with UNI EN ISO9001 and UNI EN ISO14001.

Transpack Spa ensures, through the definition of appropriate processes, that customer requirements are identified, defined and met in order to increase customer satisfaction, in compliance with environmental requirements and current legislation.

Through environmental planning, the aim is to establish operating methods that allow Transpack to know its position towards the environment and legislative compliance and to adopt all the necessary actions and measures to improve environmental performance.

The identification process of major environmental aspects linked with the activities carried out take account of the following factors, where applicable:

Emissions
Discharge in water
Waste management
Soil contamination
Effects to the community (noise, odours, effects on the environment)
Use of raw materials and natural resources.

Reverse logistic activities are conducted for the environment:

reduction of wastes and safeguarding primary resources (by reducing the packaging weight and volume)
study of packages to ease transportation
advanced management of processing waste.

ISPM 15 FAO standard

In the matter of exports, the Veneto Region has recognised the compliance of the company’s production processes with the FAO ISPM 15 Standard and has authorised Transpack to affix the mark required by IPPC/FAO ISPM 15 Standard on packaging timber and finished packaging that has been pre-treated HT in accordance with ISPM 15/FAO by accredited companies and/or that are processed and marketed.
