Wooden cages are packagings built with a wooden base with side and upper covering made up of alternating wooden boards, providing partial protection.
Very resistant to mechanical stress, wooden cages are preferred when there is a need for strength and lightness at the same time.
They can be equipped with iron brackets and iron corner to protect the lifting points. Moreover, iron plates, can be installed at the base, which allows a quick extraction from any type of BOX container.
The wooden cages represent a valid alternative to wooden crates, ideal for packing goods that do not require full coverage. They are also cheaper (less raw material used) and offer the possibility to be reused.
They can also be combined with a barrier sack or a white thermoshrinkable polyethylene for additional protection of the content, and in the case of sensitive products to weather conditions.
